Macaw Auto Body uses Ppg paints on all our cars. We have found it to be a high quality product.
From their primers to top coat we have found their product to stand up with superior quality. Ppg was one of the first companies to produce a epoxy primer , a corrosion resistant primer ,and some of the best clear coats on the market. Doing a candy paint job with ppg 's dbc 500 (a blending clear ) is simply one of the easiest methods I have ever used. Some candy and tri coat paint jobs can easily have 12 - 15 coats by time you're done. Using dbc 500 allows the paint to lay down with a minimal amount of orange peel in the paint. Their 2002 clear coat also has excellant, flowing properties and can be wet or dry sanded and pollished with superior results. Ppg has a life time warrenty on all their paints. After using it for the past decade I have never had a product fail us. I want your car to look good not just when you pick it up, but for years to come. That's why I am so particular about what we use for product . |
